We started blogging in 2005 when there was just the two of us heading to Europe.
Now it's a photojournal of what the whole family has been up to.

This is all that remains of the old temple of Veste (hence the name Vestal Virgins). It was their job to make sure the flame in the temple never went out.

Poor vestal virgins - they need Victor the handyman (or "hire a hubby" home maintenance) - the lawns need doing, the fire has gone out, and there's a bit of renovating needed to the townhouses in the background. Things are looking grim for the headless gals. Suggest they apply for a vestal virgin government grant - funding for the fixing of things. And maybe cash left over for a new head and nice hairdo. Auntie Lisa.
