The entrance to Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Over 120,000 workers housed here when the Nazi party came to power, with over 50,000 literally worked to death by the end of WW2. Some amazing stories of the human spirit and heroics here in a very sobering and sensitive place. We had a 6 hour walking tour and felt quite emotionally and physically drained by the end of yesterday.
