Scotland the Brave

We headed off from York yesterday and drove through some of the most spectacular countyside to end up in Edinburgh, Scotland. We arrived to a howling gale and buckets of rain, but we were impressed all the same. Our caravan park is on the Firth of Forth over looking Fyfe, try saying that after a few whiskeys.

Vistited Edinburgh Castle this morning, which was interesting, but our least favourite castle to date. Although Sammy was quite impressed when a girl tried to get into the castle wearing just her bikini and her tiara, but then again he is easily impressed.

After the castle we wandered down the Royal Mile and called in at Camera Obscura. Lots of fun, too much to tell you about here.

Tomorrow we are going to have a look at the Scotttish Seabird Centre on our way back down the coast heading towards London again. We are meeting my sister Toni in London and catching the ferry or the chunnel across to Calais, France on Sunday. There seems to be cheaper fares on Sunday nights, so that is good for us.

Try and get some more photos on here in the next couple of days.

Cheers,
Pauls

Stephen wondering if you got a photo of the girl in the bikini wearing a tiara , Must be a boys thing. So, any kilts around in Scotland in the blizzard? Could be snap frozen bits i expect. Nasty stuff.
Love to all of ya. from Auntie Lisa.
