A Mieksie Update
Time seems to be flying, Mieke is 11 days away from being 9 months old. I'm sure she learns to do something new everyday.
She is now sitting up by herself, although we have had quite a few big spills. Little heads make such a big noise when they hit the floorboards. No crawling yet, but I'm sure it's not far away. Mieks is so good at rolling and she is quick too. One minute you know where she is and the next she is gone. Usually doing something she shouldn't be.
Mieks is waving and clapping hands and trying to say "dog" whenever she sees one.
We have another appointment with the Orthopaedic Surgeon on Friday. Time for another set of xrays and check of how Mieksie's hips are growing. Hopefully she will pass with flying colours.

Yay....keeping cool on a hot New Year's Eve
One way to keep Mieks cool was to fill the tray of her high chair with water and ice blocks. It kept her amused and cool for ages.
