Exploding glass outdoor table

sitting quietly this morning at about 11 when I heard a sound like an explosion and smashing glass.
when i looked out the back door I saw that our glass table had in fact "exploded".
needless to say there is glass all through the backyard.................

Paula's doing well despite the heat of summer. Not long now until there's an extra member in the household! Or the more reason to get the car finished so I can spend some time with BabyD.
